Cloaky Base for Linux

Cloaky Base ships for x64 Linux as an AppImage, deb or rpm package. Open a deb or rpm with your distribution's package installer. For the AppImage, mark the file you downloaded executable and run it:

chmod +x ./<the AppImage you downloaded>
./<the AppImage you downloaded>

What to know before you run it

  • The Linux packages are unsigned. Your distribution may warn on first run.
  • Updates are manual. Download new versions from this page and replace the one you have.
  • Older distributions get an honest degrade. The terminal's native layer sets the glibc floor; on a distribution below it, the app runs and the in-app terminal reports why it cannot start instead of the app failing to launch.
  • Linux is the least-proven platform — reports welcome on the feedback page.
